I know it’s a cliche to say it’s an honor just to be nominated, but it’s true! I was watching the broadcast where the names of the 2025 Selah Awards finalists were read, and when I heard “Love Overboard by Shannon Sue Dunlap” . . . whew! I haven’t felt my heart pound that fast in a while. And I admit a few tears leaked out too. In my imagination, I later pictured how my four sassy Shippers would react. They were pretty proud. Haha.

I’m so grateful to the judges who deemed my novel worthy and to all the readers who have left encouraging reviews and shared the story with friends. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
